Indigo on the global stage: EASTIN

Indigo CEO Steve Glew and Marketplace and eCommerce Manager Sacha Marchant Indigo travelled to Germany in September to meet with EASTIN, an international assistive technology database network.


They spent a week learning, collaborating, and exploring AT with EASTIN and representatives from member organizations across Europe.

Indigo attends REHACARE International Expo

We also attended REHACARE, the International Trade Fair for Rehabilitation and Care while in Germany.  


Steve and Sacha were two of 44,000 visitors from 85 countries, and they were able to explore the amazing innovations in assistive technology from 950 exhibitors representing 40 different countries.

Meet the Team: Karen Dorlandt

Karen is our manager for GEAT (Goods, Equipment, and Assistive Technology) and has been with us for three years, working hard to ensure that clients across the country receive the assistive technology that they need.


She's hard-working and loves that her job helps Australians make their day-to-day life easier through assistive technology, especially in remote areas.

New look and functionality for geat2GO

Geat2GO has been updated with a brand-new design and functionality to make it easy for assistive technology prescribers to access and compare AT.  


With new features such as a brand-new dashboard view, request view, and the ability to compare different products, requesting and keeping updated on the status of equipment orders is now easier than ever for prescribers.

AT can help older people age well at home. However, older First Nations people who might benefit experience significant barriers to access, including a lack of culturally safe information. LiveUp’s latest article with Croakey Health Media discusses the LiveUp Better Practice Guide for culturally sensitive information about assistive products, which aims to inspire deeper intercultural conversations about assistive product provision.
