Indigo + Curtin: Empowering allied health students

We joined forces with Curtin University this month to educate and connect with their allied health students.

First-year occupational therapy students visited us each week to learn about assistive technology and receive hands-on experience and guidance from our staff, and speech pathology students got to learn about and test augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Meet Roberta, our new Administration Coordinator and one of the friendly faces you'll see in our Experience Centre.

Roberta ensures that everything in our office runs smoothly, streamlining admin processes, organising offices and helping staff, as well as greeting visitors with a smile.

She is passionate about her job and career, and loves to help others.

Happy 3rd Birthday, geat2GO!

Indigo is celebrating three years of helping older Australians select and source assistive devices and equipment across the country through geat2GO!

First launched in August 2021, geat2GO has grown so much in three years, assisting clients from all over the country, setting up offices in the eastern states, and supporting over 7,000 customers a month.

Out and About: AT Chat show and tell

Discover the transformative power of assistive technology (AT) in the community.

AT Chat's 'Show and Tell' series continues, and they are asking all AT users to share the devices and equipment that they use and that helps them participate in activities out and about in the community.

You could win a gift voucher to go towards helping you enjoy getting out in the community, and help other AT users!

PERTH DISABILITY CONNECTION EXPO

We were at the Perth Disability Connection Expo this month and had a fantastic time speaking to so many visitors about our speech and OT services, and showing them our different kinds of AT, from the Sensit chair, to switch-powered toys and accessible gaming controls!
